Looking for incredible performance from your two channel or surround system, but short on floor space? The Legacy Pixel is the most compact Legacy on wall/ in wall speaker. It delivers superb frequency response from 60Hz-28kHz making it perfect for surround sound, Dolby Atmos and even left and right channel duties in a two channel system.
Pixel features the Legacy 4” high velocity AMT- the same driver found in our Dual AMT featured in the flagship Legacy speakers, to deliver a fully extended and airy top end. The Pixel’s 7” Silver/Graphite cast frame midrange with an acoustically coupled port is the same as our legendary Focus SE speakers, and provides excellent midrange clarity.
Hanging Pixel on your wall is as easy as hanging a picture, thanks to the included aluminum bracket concealed behind the cabinet body. Pixel can also be ordered as the Pixel Pro with an oversized front baffle, allowing it to be mounted inside the wall. Pixel seamlessly matches with other Legacy floor standing speakers in the surround sound system and is an excellent alternative to Studio HD when stands are not an option, but high quality audio for picture and music is a necessity. To complement its performance capabilities, the Pixel's elegantly designed cabinetry is available in any Legacy Audio finish, allowing it to discretely fit in with any decor.
Recommended Cables: Morrow Audio SP4 or higher level speaker cables cables are excellent for this product.
Our Buyers Guide can also help you choose the perfect cables for your system.
The binding post accepts our Standard Spade, Banana and bare wire (nude) cable terminations.
- Speakers require a break in period. Just like a new pair of shoes, the speaker spider and surround needs to loosen up from their like new stiffness. Bass will deepen, midrange and highs will smooth out. You can expect around 150 hours for complete break-in.
The easiest way to break your speakers in is to simply play music with a wide dynamic range. Turn the speakers up a little louder than you normally would will help loosen up the material.
