Product Description

This is a player that one will keep for a lifetime. You will enjoy the solid aluminum cabinet panels and the thick aluminum face plate that says "quality". The remote as well displays quality with it's heavy, machined aluminum case, the feel of which is a joy to hold in your hand. This player has the ability to extract every detail and bit of information from every disk you play. You will hear a real presentation of the performance in your listening room. With it's analog like smoothness, vocals are 3-D in their presence, the soundstage is wide and deep as well as expansive. The realistic sound produced will cause you to play disk after disk, involving you in the performance.

This player will play standard CD's, redbook, computer burned and HDCD's. It will play SACD's but will only decode two channels since this is a two channel player.

1. Sony high precision top loading transport provides excellent stability. Phillips servo circuit.

2. Burr-Brown PCM1738 192Khz/24 bit HDCD decoder, digital filtering and converter chip.

3. Triode tube output stages (6N3) for realism and smoothness of sound. On the rear of the unit you will find two sets of RCA outputs, outputs 1 are from the tube output stages, outputs 2 are from a solid state op-amp. Balanced output is also provided.

4. Solen coupling capacitors in all critical audio stages.

5. Precision 1% resistors throughout.

6. Two separate toroidal power supply transformers for audio and digital circuits.

7. Power supply has LC filtering network, the best!

8. Solid, machined aluminum remote control, two "AAA" batteries included.
