Good Shepherd Orphanage:

Several years ago I came into contact with Sami Durai, founder of the Good Shepherd Orphanage. He has since visited my home several times for the purpose of visiting churches to raise funds for his ministry. Morrow Audio is a supporter of this ministry and would like to share this cause with our website visitors.

Information:

Located in Mamallapuram, South India, the Good Shepherd Orphanage rescues children who are faced with the poorest of conditions. Many of the children have been living in the streets due to losing their parents from disease, financial burden and other causes.

Good Shepherd Orphanage provides food, housing, medical attention and education for the children through the 12th grade. Those children fortunate enough to find themselves at the orphanage have a great chance to live good and productive lives, being of benefit to the community they serve.

Some Financial Facts: Cost for a child per month $30.00 Cost per child for a year $360.00 Total expense per month to operate orphanage $1500.00 Average weekly income for a man in India $30.00
