Testimonials

"I wanted to take a minute to provide some feedback concerning your MA6 Interconnects, SP6 Speaker Cables, and your MAP3 Reference Power Cords. All of these models have greatly enhanced my audio system. I was using top of the line and high cost Nordost and Kimber products before and after replacing them with your products, I can say that the quality and performance of sound across the spectrum was definitely elevated. I describe the sound as simply elegant. Your products are reasonably priced; I would say a bang for the buck, just what is needed in the audio world today. Highly recommended!" Kevin - Louisville

What Cables Should I Upgrade First?

We recommend starting with the source components, working your way to the speakers. After that, start upgrading the power cords. As a detailed example, start first by replacing a source cable, like from a CD player to preamplifier. Next replace the cables from the preamp to power amp. Idealy, if finaces allow, replace these two together to have our cables in your system from source to power amplifier. Next, replace the speaker cables, then start upgrading the power cords, starting again with the source components. Replacing your cables in this order will realize the greatest sonic improvements and enjoyment as you complete each step.

The Equipment We Use To Evaluate Our Cables:

Designing and building cables is a tricky business, requiring just the right balance of gauge, wire type and dielectric. It would be foolish to test our designs on a mediocre system. At Morrow Audio, we have only the best in our listening/ testing room, insuring that whatever system our cables go into, that they should provide great satisfaction and musicality! You can see our listening room here.

Product Full Description

The MA6 consist of many multiple runs of solid core, small gauge, silver coated wire which is then silver soldered to the termination of choice. This wire has been chosen for the excellent balance of sound that it provides. The MA6 contains twice the number of wires over the MA4, half as many more over the MA5. The results is the ultimate in resolution and detail retrieval that are at the limits of possibility. The 4th and 5th reflections of the concert hall are revealed with uncanny realism, as well as the slightest tonal shadings and differences between the brands of instruments being played. The cable has an attractive appearance and possess excellent RFI and noise rejection.

What Are the Differences Between Models?

The basic differences between models are the number of wires within the cable structure. As you move up the line, the greater number of wires allow a likewise greater amount of subtleties and details to come through. The soundstage and separation of instruments within that stage also increase. The MA5 - MA7 includes our free optional 2 day break-in service. 5 day extended breakin service is available for an additional fee. Chart below reflects non-balanced cables. Balanced cables have an additional run of wires in the cable structure, hence the price difference.

Runs of wire within the cable structure
MA1 2 runs of wire
MA1.1 4 runs of wire
MA2 6 runs of wire
MA3 12 runs of wire
MA4 Reference 24 runs of wire
MA5 Grand Reference 36 runs of wire
MA6 Grand Reference 48 runs of wire
MA7 Grand Reference 72 runs of wire
